Description
The enemy continuously dissuades believers from hearing the voice of God and their reading through the Bible to identify what God wants their faiths to resemble.
The author knew Satan was doing just that when he felt the desire from God to compose a hymn, but heard a small voice inside say it was not possible. Pushing pass the discouragement, he kept his mind open to God and was answered with several melodies and lyrics.
These created hymnals comprise the outline for his new book, Daily Walking with Jesus; I am Convinced, a collection of hymnal-inspired devotionals that encourage daily interactions with the Savior.
Each composition includes a hymnal written by the author, along with a connecting devotional that expounds on the essences of each, followed by a prayer that focuses on the reader’s need of guidance for the day.
Scripture verses and excerpted quotes from well-known biblical figures establish more of the necessity for Jesus’s presence in believers’ lives of, bringing the peace and loving guidance needed in life’s storms.
The initial goal is help readers begin / enhance a relationship with God; through the acceptance of Christ’s resurrection and redemption, and continued through daily pursuits of Jesus in prayer, scripture reading and fellowshipping.
Learning how to become a disciple of Jesus and how to love others, and God, as God does are also explored more through the compositions.
With music fueling the spiritual connection with God through Jesus, Reverend Evans hopes readers, through God’s grace, will see there is no one greater than Jesus and no one more understanding of what they go through daily.
